So I was playing Go Fish with Tara.
"Tara, do you have an 8?"
"Gold Fish"
"Oh sweetie it's Go Fish, not gold fish."
"MMHHMMM"
Two minutes later.
"Gold Fish, Mommy."
"Tara, it's..."
"I know, Mommy. I want to call it like this."
That's Tara. She has definite opinions and is not going to be influenced by semantics.
Later she took the "Fly Swapper" and tried to "Swap a fry."

that is awesome! I've got to meet these girls of yours sometime!
LOL!
Your girls are terribly cute!
Ellie proudly got out the coat the girls gave her and was wearing it around the house in 95% weather the other day.
When I inquired about the reason for the coat she informed me she was “hot” and needed the coat to get “warm”.
I’ve yet to determine if she’s still working out the concept of opposites or if she just lives by different physical laws.
My kids love hanging out with yours. I wish we lived closer. Maybe in 3 or 4 years - who knows where we’ll end up after school?
That's so sweet how Ellie likes the coat. Fashion rules over comfort; every toddler knows that!
I wish we all lived closer.
I'd like to see you too Bec. The girls would like you, that's for sure.
hee hee, cute stuff.
LOL @ Rat - children living by different physical laws. But yeah, some of our kids are strong-willed. Will we find it as cute when they are teenagers? Hmmmm
